Keep your doc up to date about your condition. Let he or she know if the prescription drugs are working for you, or if you're feeling worse then before you started receiving the medicine.

Do not just take a drug and assume you're alright. Constantly keep a close watch on the individual receiving the drug.

Make a journal and log any dates with changes you have noticed about the person taking the drug. Show them to your doctor, they will search over your journal and see if the drug you're taking is the right one.

Remember these drugs are for the most part very safe, but you should also never ever trust them to cure you of your ailment. There are plenty of very serious side effects from these drugs that can at worst kill you.
