A Quick Guide to Cellulite Removal

By Missy B Taylor

Today's media portrays celebrities as slender and cellulite free. Being constantly bombarded with these idealized images can make women feel inferior. But the fact is that many of these female celebrities have their own weight issues and almost all of them suffer from cellulite. This is because 90 per cent of women will have cellulite at some stage with the risk of the condition increasing as they age. It occurs most often on the thighs, bum and stomach because this is where the body naturally stores more fat.

Cellulite can be treated but results can take awhile to be seen. Don't be fooled by any advertisement that says you get rid of cellulite in a matter of days or overnight. If you persist with proven treatments you will be very pleased at the results and will be able to go out in that tight outfit with confidence.

As with anything that takes awhile to work, procrastination is the biggest killer. Most women are unhappy with their bodies but hardly any of them take action to change their circumstances. Efforts is required with these things but once you have achieved your goal you will look back knowing that you have worked hard to get there.

The first thing you need to do is examine you diet. Stop eating foods which contain high levels of fat and sugar, and it goes with out saying to avoid things like junk food, chocolate and sweets. Replace these foods with fresh fruit, vegetables and lean meat.

A diet is not complete without an exercise program. You should be aiming for exercises that will get rid of the fat but also work and tone the muscles in the areas that are a problem. The program that you do should also be something that you enjoy. If you don't like the gym then don't go. Go for a walk or workout at home instead. You need to set things up in such away that it will be something that you enjoy doing so that you will stick with it.

Bad circulation can increase the risk of cellulite. This is because toxins can become trapped inside the fat layer. The cells react by becoming hard and lumpy. Massaging the area with a cellulite cream can soften up the cells and make them more smooth for less dimpled skin. The cream can assist the body in removing the toxins and help burn the fat away from underneath the skin. - 16463
