Legitimate Work At Home Opportunities: Questions To Avoid Scams!

By Kylon Trower

Finding the pearl in the clam infested waters of home based business can be more difficult than some may think. Legitimate work at home opportunities are all over the place but you have to know how to spot them.

Having the right questions to ask is critical as this will allow you to discern quickly whether a business or potential business partner are worth your time, energy and hard earned money. Here is my quick list of questions to ask prospective sponsors out the gate.

1. What are your companies primary product(s) or service offerings?

2. Will I be eligible to receive free training when I join? Explain.

3. What has been your personal experience with the company?

4. Are you working full or part time in the business?

5. What should I realistically expect to earn is I am someone of average ability? Note: This is not a guarantee of earnings

6. What parts of the business are more arduous or difficult that I may encounter?

7. What ind of track record does the company have and tell me about its management staff?

8. When, how and based on what outcomes do I get paid?

9. Do you recommend I speak with anyone else before I get started? Note: If a person blatantly answers "No" to this question it should raise a flag.

10. What literature, websites or other outside information source do you recommend I review?

These questions are in no way comprehensive but they do run the gamut without flat out asking someone if they are involved in a scam. Be smart about it and use common sense as the idea is not to interrogate the person you are talking to but to get information so you can make a conscious business decision. Be courteous and mindful of their time and this exercise will prove very beneficial in your search for legitimate work at home opportunities.
